I started working as a secretary in a real estate office in Winter Haven at 17, & the moment I was eligible to take the state exam, I sat for it. I became a licensed Realtor at 18 & a licensed Broker at 20 years old, & have been serving sellers & buyers in this community ever since.
In total, I've been in real-estate for nearly four decades and counting! In 2010 I founded the Julie Matthews Group, built on the same foundation that has guided my entire career: relationships first, results always, & never treating someone's home like just another transaction. Over the years I've helped hundreds of families buy and sell throughout Winter Haven and Polk County, & every single one of those clients worked directly with me from start to finish. I bring deep market knowledge, sharp negotiation experience, & an attention to detail that comes from doing this long enough to have seen everything.
A couple of things people are usually surprised to learn: I'm fluent in Danish, and I once closed 15 homes in a single day.
Winter Haven has been my home since I was 17, and helping people plant roots in the community I love is still what drives me every morning.
